EW002a 33x42 anubis hathor papyrus painting
papyrus painting 33cm x 42cm on light papyrus shows Pharaoh conversing with God of the dead Anubis, and again presenting an offering to the Goddess Hathor. God Anubis is identified by the human figure with the head of a dog or jackal, while Goddess Hathor is identified by cows horns and the solar disc.

BillBorn in Forres, Scotland in mid 1954. Bill lived and worked in the UK till 1984, when Bechtel gave him the chance to go to Riyadh Airport. Since then he has passed through Saudi Arabia another three times, Iraq (including a period spent camping in the grounds of the British Embassy awaiting permission to leave), Dubai, Kuwait, Kazakstan (twice), Algeria (twice) before finally coming to Egypt. Now Bahrain has been added to the list of countries worked in. |
