About ActStocker

Fully compatible with Version 7 and Version 8 websites, ActStocker provides three methods of setting the maximum order quantity against your website stock items.

At the top of the form is a single product reduced fieldset, showing the product reference, short description, stock on hand, max quantity orderable and stock enabled status [ a tick means stock control is enabled on this product ]. Changes can be made here.

NOTE: Although you can change the value of ANY field in the interface, the only changes that are saved back into Actinic are changes in the max orderable quantity.

In the lower part of the window is a tabular display which shows the Catalog reference, ParentSectionID, Product sequence, Product reference, Short description,, Can be ordered online and max orderable quantity fields by default, with remaining product table fields visible by scrolling to the right. Again changes may be made to any field value, but only max orderable quantity changes are written back to Actinic.

Between these two interfaces, there is a row of four buttons.

The first button will launch Actinic, perform a download of any new orders and then reload the data table. [Actinic does not need to be open for this to function - it uses the command line syntax - and Actinic will be closed when the download is completed - even if it was previously open] This ensures you are working with CURRENT stock levels.

The second button can be used to set ALL product maximum ordereable quantities to equal the stock on hand.

The third button saves changes in max orderable quantity [regardless of whether you made the changes using the top interface, the bottom table OR the set all button] back into Actinic.

The fourth button opens Actinic, and uploads the changed data - this data is contained in the cat files produced by Actinic, so do not expect to see html pages going up. Once the website cat files have been updated and the usual website merge completed, Actinic will be closed.
